At Embedded World 2020, Verifysoft presented first-class test and analysis tools to increase the quality and security of embedded software. However, due to concerns about the corona virus, only 14,000 rather than the more usual over 30,000 visitors came to Nuremberg. Nevertheless, Verifysoft was very satisfied with the numerous discussions that took place.

The topic of software testing was extremely popular at the Verifysoft booth this year: the number of interested users who came to learn about our leading technology tools for improving quality in software development was only slightly lower than in previous years.
Verifysoft was in Nuremberg with a team of eleven specialists. We presented the Code Coverage Analyser Testwell CTC++, the static code analysis tool GrammaTech CodeSonar, as well as Imagix 4D, a tool for the exploration of unknown code.

Testwell CTC++ Test Coverage Analyser can be used anywhere and works everywhere

Our Test Coverage Analyser Testwell CTC++ is an excellent tool for embedded software development and is able to be utilized for the smallest target areas. Testwell CTC++ measures the test coverage for all coverage levels up to MC/DC as well as multi-condition coverage and thus fulfills all requirements of safety standards such as IEC 61508, ISO 26262 and DO-178.
The tool is simple to handle and easy to integrate. It works with all compilers and supports all embedded targets. Thanks to the low instrumentation overheads, even the smallest targets and microcontrollers present no problems for Testwell CTC++.

Static Code Analysis with CodeSonar - The earlier you test, the less expensive is it to fix errors

Static code analysis tools can be used very early on in the development process, because the code is not implemented during static analysis.
GrammaTech CodeSonar was developed specifically for testing embedded software. Easily understandable outputs and error descriptions significantly simplify bug fixing. CodeSonar prioritizes errors to avoid "not seeing the wood for the trees". As such, the really "important" bugs can be corrected first. This considerably increases the likelihood that engineers and managers will purchase it for static analysis.

Imagix 4D helps you to understand unknown code

Imagine you need to find your way through the source code of colleagues who have already long left your company. No easy task, because that code is often insufficiently reported and difficult to understand.
