- The Instrumenting Tool ctc Measuring code coverage of a program takes place with an instrumented version of the program. The instrumentation is performed by ctc during compilation.
- The Build Launcher ctclaunchIn productive use, the instrumenting tool ctc is usually not used directly, but has to integrate with an existing build process. ctclaunch is able to interact generically with many build systems.
- The Report Generator ctcreport With ctcreport, coverage reports in structured HTML format or in a single-file text format are generated from symbol and data files.
- The Postprocessor ctcpost The tool ctcpost can be used for combining and analyzing symbol and data files.
- The Data File Converter ctc2datIf HOTA is used, the coverage data is written in textualized form, usually to a text file MON.txt. With ctc2dat, this input is converted to the standard data file format ("MON.dat").
- The BITCOV Initiator ctc2staticExecuted as a hook script during instrumentation, ctc2static initializes the BITCOV setup without a runtime library and (typically) bits as counters.
- The Memory Calculator any2memThe auxiliary tool any2mem calculates the required size of the CTC_array used for BITCOV.
- The Memory Dump Converter dmp2txtThe tool dmp2txt converts the dumped BITCOV array to HOTA toolchain’s MON.txt format.
