Embedded World 2024:
Verifysoft with best in class Software Testing Tools
Watch here our video: Verifysoft at Embedded World 2024
Verifysoft and its partner Codee presented first-class tools for improving the quality, productivity, safety and security of embedded software.
At the 19th participation at Embedded World, 14 specialists were in Nuremberg to show first-in-class testing technologies.
Here more about our latest versions which have been presented at the trade show:
Code Coverage: Testwell CTC++
Version 10.1 of the code coverage analyzer Testwell CTC++ now offers the possibility to use justifications. This can be used to explain missing coverage. Justifications have an effect on the code coverage results. The influence of the justifications is documented in the report - testers receive both coverage values: with and without justifications.The TÜV-certified tool works with all compilers and all embedded targets and is used successfully in safety-critical software development all over the world.
Optimizing Code Performance: Codee
Codee is a new static analysis tool that detects performance problems in C, C++ and Fortran source code very early on in the development process. In many cases, Codee can even fix performance issues automatically.Codee is a cutting-edge solution for optimizing performance while simultaneously reducing energy consumption and memory usage.
The tool is used to improve time-critical applications such as braking systems so that they perform their tasks correctly within the specified time frame.
Code Understanding: Imagix 4D
Imagix 4D offers valuable help for anyone who needs to find their way around old and unfamiliar code. The tool helps to explore and understand source code. Imagix 4D simplifies the execution of reviews and provides a meaningful visualization of the software.Static Code Analysis: CodeSonar
The new version 8.1 of the static analysis tool CodeSonar focuses on improving the coverage of coding standards. CodeSonar now supports six further programming languages. In addition to the previous languages C, C++, Java and C#, software written in Kotlin, Python, Go, Rust, JavaScript and TypeScript is now also analyzed.CodeSonar now covers 95% of the MISRA C 2023 rules. The MISRA C++ 2023 coverage is new. Here, 65% coverage has already been achieved. Complete coverage will be available in the next version.
Cyber-Security: CodeSentry
CodeSentry analyzes components in open source and third-party software and creates a software bill of materials.The tool also provides information on security vulnerabilities and thus reduces the risk of damage from cyber-attacks.
